State Nodal Agency (SNA):-

1. To make Delhi, a solar city.
2. To formulate policies and programmes for the promotion, development and implementation of renewable and alternate energy devices and technologies.
3. To create awareness among public through training's, publications, exhibitions, seminars and conferences.
4. Promote research, design, development, demonstration, commercialization & deployment of new and renewable energy systems/ devices for transportation, portable & stationery applications, in Rural, Urban, Industrial & Commercial sectors.
5. To implement programs of Government of NCT of Delhi and MNRE, GOI in the State of Delhi.
6. Create a trained manpower & skill development through capacity building programs, education, training, etc.
7. Build a knowledge platform with a database for various renewable energy technologies and their feedback through collection, compilation & collation of data.
8. To take up the systematic assessment of potential of various kinds of non- conventional energy sources.
9. Support large – scale distribution and marketing of renewable energy devices by participating in field viability and commercialization exercises through innovative financing mechanism and creating investment opportunities.
